Front cover of the 1911 farmer's diary

A blog covering a year in the life of  a farmer on the Buckinghamshire  – Bedfordshire border through his 1911 diary and his day to day agricultural life. He also records  the weather, e.g temperatures rising to 97 degrees farenheit in August!

My aim, with your help,  is to hopefully  identify him  through various names he mentions throughout,  plus discover the whereabouts of his farm.

I have already discovered that James Kinns, mentioned early on in the diary, came from Cranfield, Bedfordshire.

The diary was made by Mc Corquodale & Co. Ltd London SE at their Printing Works in Wolverton, Bucks.
